Good Morning Friends, I hope you are well. The early sunrises are back and if there was a moment I could capture all year round, it would be the slow increase in daylight, temperature and greenery of March and April. Firstly, I want to acknowledge the lack of podcasts in the last 3 weeks but as baby life continues, I'm adapting to carve out time in the schedule to build the habit again. It reminds me of the idea of having a stable environment. This term is what I would use as a predictor for optimal living. Not that stability is boring but it is what allows you the space to breathe and grow. Instability is chaos if it goes on for too long. Stability is what allows you build. Build your health. Build your fitness. Build your career. Build your relationships. Instability is survival mode. However, it is impossible to avoid instability in your life. If your life is focused on protecting your stability, you defeat the whole purpose of living optimally. It's easy to fear instability as it feels like everything in your life needs put on hold during this period. Yet, so much inner growth comes from this and it allows you to appreciate stability when it arrives. Stability should be a joy to behold. One that has been earned yet you know it may only be temporary. This is what a lot of appreciation is really birthed from - previous effort and knowledge it's finite. I would argue that stability gets better with age too. Perhaps it's the compounding of previous efforts that adds up. Perhaps something else. Maybe it's the grounding perspective of knowing what you have is enough. I've talked plenty about the idea of enough previously yet it's one that you always need to keep in check. Especially with this idea of stability. If you can't be happy with earned stability, then when can you? It's like life handing you a reward and you choose to ignore it because you think something else is more important. Stability won't get you attention, it won't get you recognition and no one will acknowledge it. These are some of the poisons you may be striving for that won't bring you the same contentment as stability. A letter to prompt thought as always. I'll close there and leave you to ponder this for the rest of your day. Enjoy your coffee or tea and see you all (hopefully on the podcast!) soon! Best, Lawrence |

Good Morning Friends! I trust you're well. Today marks 5 years since I started this project, and in that regard, adds to the significance of today's letter. It all started with an old Mac, a headset, and a desire to share. This project has given me more than I could have imagined, and then some more. I never thought I'd connect with so many people around the world. Nor reach the depths of creativity I have. I'm saying this through pure joy, yet I'll never be able to put a price on the...
Good Morning Friends, I hope you're well. We're well into May now, and I'm truly basking in the greenness of the forest I see on the horizon each morning. I've been considering the relationship between time and meaningfulness this week, as I find spare time more fleeting yet moments more memorable. Time has become more of a commodity over recent years, yet the more you get is like money: there's no point in having so much if you don't do anything meaningful with it. We all think we want more...
Good Morning Friends, I trust you're well. To start, I'd love to ask, ' How do you live fully?' I'm leaving it open-ended as I try to expand my own awareness of what it means. I've found living presently with intention pre-child was a tool for being more fulfilled with life, yet post-child, you have no choice; you will live presently! Are there more levels? Does it just continue to evolve? Does it heighten the experience of simpler things? Does it allow you to be more ruthless when...
