Sunday Thoughts - Be Busy Living

Good morning friends,

I write to you after a week away from real life. We took our wee one away for his first trip abroad and it was magical. The moments of joy we had will be tough to top at this stage and like anything in life, these moments are sacred because they pass.

I could write about living presently or being grateful in this vein yet I'm going to go down a slightly different path today all about busyness.

For years, I talked about the desire for peace and quiet for the rest of my life. This was the end goal. Yet something is shifting. Like picking up a book at the right time in your life, this feels like one of those times. As I open each new door for Living Fully, I find things I perhaps didn't expect. Especially when looking back at my former self.

Whilst I now have all the tools and awareness for peace and quiet, I have now stumbled upon the joy of living. Living fully means being busy. Busy in the most positive way possible. The demands of life from things you want to do. Resting so well and deeply because the stress of life only comes from things you've created in your life through love.

Yes, you may desire downtime, solitude or an empty schedule but the best part about your movie is the story you create. Living should be full of things you want to do. We live in a time where most of these things exist. There certainly hasn't been a better point in humanity so far.

It's important to not confuse this with keeping up with the Joneses and doing things mimetically. This is your life. It should be full of things you want to do. Not selfishly, include others who matter to you in the things that bring you joy. But life should be full, not empty. Watch out for time flying by in the most beautiful way.

As my life naturally evolves, I'm finding things grow, some dissipate and some maintain. From a creative perspective, I almost ran out of time for today's letter because I was busy living. But this is in the most positive manner possible.

As I close, without being rushed, I want you to ponder the idea of being busy living. It's one of life's greatest gifts. Being busy with your heart on fire. Even in low moments, which we all experience, finding the things that bring you energy can be magical.

Have a great Sunday and speak with you all again soon.

Best,

Lawrence

Good Morning Friends! I trust you're well. Today marks 5 years since I started this project, and in that regard, adds to the significance of today's letter. It all started with an old Mac, a headset, and a desire to share. This project has given me more than I could have imagined, and then some more. I never thought I'd connect with so many people around the world. Nor reach the depths of creativity I have. I'm saying this through pure joy, yet I'll never be able to put a price on the...

Good Morning Friends, I hope you're well. We're well into May now, and I'm truly basking in the greenness of the forest I see on the horizon each morning. I've been considering the relationship between time and meaningfulness this week, as I find spare time more fleeting yet moments more memorable. Time has become more of a commodity over recent years, yet the more you get is like money: there's no point in having so much if you don't do anything meaningful with it. We all think we want more...

Good Morning Friends, I trust you're well. To start, I'd love to ask, ' How do you live fully?' I'm leaving it open-ended as I try to expand my own awareness of what it means. I've found living presently with intention pre-child was a tool for being more fulfilled with life, yet post-child, you have no choice; you will live presently! Are there more levels? Does it just continue to evolve? Does it heighten the experience of simpler things? Does it allow you to be more ruthless when...
