Good morning friends! I trust you're well and have had a week you can look back on and be proud of. I now spend most of my time off 'doing' so moments to pause become peaceful in a whole new way. Walks with the gang, cycling as a commute, writing or recording a podcast. They all used to be building blocks of my life, now I'd describe them as my form of 'being'. To have peace is to do nothing. But once nothing is boring, what else feels light to you that may bring you peace? I think it's important to treasure these things as sacred. Don't ruin them with expectations, nurture them like a plant. Look after them like a pet. Don't create irreversible versions of things you once loved for their simplicity. Don't destroy things you created by defining them differently. Yes, things evolve and change but we should never lose the essence of the true meaning behind why things make us feel the way they do. This feels like an unspoken expectation that grows over time: that your life should evolve. Yet the most important part of that evolution is your own choice. What do you want your life to look like? What do you want the things that matter most to you in your life to look like? I'm coming up to about 6 years of having lived a certain version of my life so far. As I add to it continually, I've found the journey from busyness to quiet back to busyness profound and ironically peaceful. It's tough to top the feeling of creating things for your life that improve it. You take full credit as it was completely down to you, but no one will ever acknowledge it because it won't impact them in the same way. There is a beauty in this. There is also the other side of zero control, where life happens to you. Yet, with these blocks continually evolving, you know you can always fall back on them. As I write this right before I send it straight to you this morning, I'll close with the question - what do you want to create in your life that you'll always be able to fall back on? Have a lovely rest of your Sunday. Best, Lawrence |

Good Morning friends! There is something unusually familiar about my setting this morning as I write. It's the cusp of summer, the birds are singing and I'm writing uninterrupted with what feels like unlimited time. There is a beauty in being able to capture moments of your past and revisit them. You'll notice you feel differently now to how you did then. Positively and negatively. I think it's special to even spend a few seconds as you're past self and bask in it's glory. I was re-reading a...
Good Morning Friends! I hope you're well. We are on a 10-day streak of sunshine here in Glasgow, which I've never seen in 6 years of living here! People moan about it still being cold, but it is absolutely beautiful to absorb after a long, dark winter. Yes, it's true, there's sun in Scotland! I find myself growing branches from the idea of 'Living Fully'. We are heading into Spring I guess... I hope you enjoyed my piece about admiration last week, and I think the more I write and delve into...
Good Morning Friends, I trust you're well. As I write, the sky right now at 6:37am matches the colour in the SIP logo. I'm excited for the sun to begin rising sooner each day over the horizon of trees out the front of our house. It's a magical time of year that I always know I will look back on and remember fondly. As 2025 unfolds, I'm trusting the thoughts that surface through the precious writing time I have. 2025 seems to be the beginning of the musings of 'Living Fully' which has brought...
